Yard of Ale has been brewing on-site since 2008. In that time we’ve provided beer to an increasing number of Pubs, Clubs, Beer Festivals and Specialist Suppliers.
Initially set up as a cask ale supplier, Yard of Ale can now supply its Award-Winning ales in various formats - from traditional 9g cask to one-way carbonated kegs to Mini-Kegs, Bag-in-Box and Bottles.
Yard of Ale delivers around the North East of England every week so, if you’d like to try our beers, drop us a message and we’ll do the rest.

The Surtees Arms opened in 1872 and has been providing refreshments to the local area ever since.
